Det var gårsdagens fotballkamp spilt i Athen! Jeg er ikke mye interessert i fotball men når Norge og Hellas spiller, må jeg jo! Vi samlet oss, i god tid på forhånd, 11 norske, fastboende og turister, hos Giannis på vår stamkafè, Ouzobaren alias Brown Chairs alias... Fylte pannekaker ble bestilt både søte og noen fylt med ost og skinke!
Alle nøt det!
Det regnet lett men vi satt under tak. Kaldt var det jo ikke!
Da stadion i Athen kom på TV var det skikkelig regn. Kampen ble utsatt og da hva så jeg?
TRINE, norske Trine, som kommer hit i dag dekket hele skjermen! Norske, blonde, pene jenter er alltid populære!

Football played in Athens last night! I am not much interested in football but when my two countries plays I just have to!
We were gathered 11 Norwegians at "our" café at Giannis`, International alias Brown Chairs alias ... both tourists and us who lives here. We had stuffed crêpes which we all enjoyed, some sweet and some with cheese and ham. Just lovely!
It was a light rain but not cold!
When the stadium in Athens was shown it was pouring down. The match postponed a bit and then what did I see?
TRINE, Norwegian Trine, who is coming here today, was on the whole screen! Norwegian, blond, beautiful girls are always popular!

Friday the 22. it was an article at page 10 about buying a house in Greece;

"Others costs
Apart from paying tax on the property, the purchaser will also face a number of other cost in competing the deal. These are;

• Lawyer; around E 1,500 - 2,000

• Surveyor; around E 500

• Public Notary; around two percent of the purchase price

• Lawyer's Association; 1 percent of the first E 44,000 and 0,5 percent of reminding of the purchase price (eg on a property whose purchase price is E 100,000, the fee will be E 440,- plus E 280 - a total of E 720)"

It is also written about tax;
"The government recently announced that VAT would be applied to newbuild properties from 1 January 2006. Other tax charges are in the air so purchasers are advised to clarify the tax situation with final financial outlay.
There is no Capital Gains Tax in Greece at the moment so profit made on the property stays with the vendor."
