Foto fra mitt videokamera.

Hvor kommer navnet Milia fra?
Where does the name Milιa come from?

το μήλο - eple - apple
η μιλιά - ord, tale - speech, word
- mil - mile

What a day it was!
We were at Milias Saturday, it was sun all the time, over +20C, +22C in the crystal clear sea, and just wonderful!
When we came it was 2 people to the right, so we went left, but since it was at the end, we stopped in the middle. Others who came and went during the day, kept good distance.
I guess it was 14 on the long beach
at the most, - luxury!
It is practical to be able to drive all the way down to the beach, easy to transport my picnic gear.
Don't tell anybody, but for the most we swam without clothes, that gives the extra to see dive in the lovely sea!

BUT suddenly there came two guys who collected the parasol holders, dustbins, and finally sun-beds. End of summer!
Our 2 beds was the last to leave Milia
this summer. The guy who came to collect tem said; "Sorry, sorry" and was really sorry for taking away my girlfriends beds, - they had not even paid for them, that's life!
So all is closed at Milia, but the beautiful beach will always be there!

Many sun-beds are cleared away at Panormos, but a guy said he will keep on going until end of October. Same said one of the middle tavernas, Asteria - I think it is called.
~~~~~~~
€ 13.80 for 2 small Mythos at the Likavitos Hill, in Athens, yesterday,
said 2 nice boys who went back to Norway yesterday. The managed it in one day, and came home to +3C and rain! We have sun and +23C, why to leave?
Christos Kyriazis - Epimeno
The lyrics are on YouTube;
έμαθα μια ζωή - I learned over a lifetime
να πονάω, να αγαπάω - To hurt, to love
έφτασε η στιγμη - the moment has come
να το μαθό, μαρτυράω - for me to learn it, I declare it (??)
(I think it means; I suffered martyrdom)
επιμένω, επιμένω - I persist, I persist (or insist)
η ζωή μου νησί - My life an island
μακριά μου εσύ - and you far away from me
υπομένω, περιμένω - I suffer, I wait
στη καρδιά μου εσύ - with you in my heart
η ζωή μου νησί - my life an island
επιμένω - I persist
έμαθα μια ζωή - I learned over a lifetime
να σε νοιάζομαι - To be important to you
παραμυθίαζομαι - I chat (once again...??)
(I think it means; I imagine)
στην αγάπη σου αφτί - In this love of you
να σκοτώνομαι - To kill myself
έτσι να σώνομαι - And to run out like this
