I love Blue!

Etterpå spiste vi på Alexander, masse god mat, bare se på denne Mixed Fish Plate;

Skopelos is lovely!
Was at the brown chairs last night, it was clear less tourists. I am not complaining, but I do not like when the streets are so full that you feel like in a queue. Some like August, with lots of life, - I don't!
Am I old!
Still between 50 and 60, - for about
another year and some!

Afterwards we ate at Alexander, lots of good food, just look at this seafood platter;

Kjempereke, sverdfisk,
Alt veldig bra!
Scampi, swardfish,
"bakaljaros" (cod) and
kalamari, a great mix!
The restaurant was full when we got there, but we waited a bit and got a great round table.
All very good!

We have had nice boys-visits
but they go home today! Time goes quickely!
Mum loves having men around,
- she is only 81!

Patitiri, Alonnisos
Noen dra over kvelden før avreise,
fordi de ikke får billetter samme morgen,
- og det er ille!
Andre fordi de da kan sove lengere
på avreisedagen!

I morres ble Apollo gjestene hentet
av en chartret båt.

not exactly my favorite place there, but it is the man harbor, all ferries are going in there.
Alonnisos is a lovely island, many starts their holiday there in order to stress down,
- perfect place for relaxation and slow life.
Then they come here where we do have more life! Some ends their holiday in Skiathos, it is also a very beautiful island.
Some go to Skiathos the day before departure, some because they do not get tickets on the morning boat - very bad!
Others because they want to sleep long
on departure-day!

This morning the Apollo guests was picked up by a chartered boat.

Swimming at Agios Petros, Kyra Panagia

- Gir'u opp? spurte lille Per.

Small Per (boy) saw his mother standing in front of the mirror,
putting cream on her face.
What are you doing, mummy? he asked.
Making myself beautiful.

After a while she took a paper napkins and took
the leftovers of the cream off.

Are you giving up? asked small Per.

Charity boost from Church
from ekathimerini.com

The Church of Greece is hoping that the government will take seriously the request it made this week for help in making best use of some of the thousands of properties it owns so it can fund a number of charity projects.

Sources told Kathimerini yesterday that the Church is hopeful that Public Works Minister Giorgos Souflias, who met with Archbishop Ieronymos on Wednesday, will respond favorably to the request. The Church wants the government to help it develop some of the properties in Athens, including one in the upmarket neighborhood of Kolonaki, as part of a plan to build rehabilitation centers for drug addicts, old people’s homes and care centers for cancer sufferers and autistic children.

After Wednesday’s meeting, Souflias acknowledged the archbishop’s “burning desire to make a contribution to society but which requires work and funds for which he has requested our support.”
