I alle fall melonen smakte nyyydelig!   No comments on this photo, what I have in mind can easily be misunderstood! For sure the melon was delicious!   Tomatoes & peppers from a kalivi garden in Mourtero Beans from a kalivi garden in Mourtero Eggs, tuna fish & sardines - not from a garden in Mourtero but the salad was! Etter den herlige båtturen lørdag hadde vi et nydelig måltid hos Ektor - hunden vi passet i februar - og hans eiere. Det så så lekkert ut, og smakte nydelig, men vepsen var fryktelig innpåtrengende. Vi skulle ha ventet til godt etter solnedgang, for da pluttselig forsvant de alle! After the lovely boat-trip on Saturday, we had a lovely meal at Ektors - the doggy we looked after in February - and his owners. The dishes was so temptingly looking and tastes just perfect, but the wasps was very intruding. We should have waited to eat, they disappeared just after sunset!   The boys at Kastro New ticket office in The New Port Lemonis som selger billetter til Daliana, Achilleas, Panagia Thalassina og SpeedCatten har åpnet en kiosk rett til høyere for der du går inn til havnen. Det går alltid båter til Skiathos, Alonnisos, Volos og Agios Konstantinos. Hvis du ser på lister over båter som kommer og går her hver dag, er den ganske imponerende. Se på www.openseas.gr  Min første vinter her i 1983-4 kom det en båt fra Volos i uken, og da møtte mange øyboere opp for å se på. Tror båten het Sporades, og hadde plass til 3 biler. Om sommeren gikk det flere båter, bl.a. den Langesunds byggede fergen Skopelos. Den som tok oss ut til Skiathos første gangen i september 1980. En flott ferge. Sist jeg så den for en del år siden lå den ensom og forlatt utenfor Volos havn. Hvor er den nå? Nå har jeg lett og lett, hva skjedde med den gamle Skopelos fergen, med navnet Skopelos? Den tilhørte  Nomikos, og seilte her i mange år. Hvor finner man oversikt over gamle greske ferger? Noen som vet?   From Skopelos you may travel with different boats also to: Kymi, Skyros, Limnos and Thessaloniki at the moment. We have always boats to Skiathos, Alonnisos, Volos & Agios Konstantinos. If you look at the lists of boats coming and going every day, it is rather impressive. Look at www.openseas.gr  My first winter here in 1983-4 it was only one boat coming once a week, and many of the islanders came down to meet it. I think the name was Sporades. it had space for 3 cars. In the summer there were more boats, one I remember well is Skopelos. It was built in Langesunds Verft, Norway. The first time I came to Skiathos it was on Skopelos in September 1980. A very good boat! Lat time I saw it was in Volos, it was laying there in a bay outside of the port, all alone! Where is it now? I have been looking for it, but did not find it. What happened with the Skopelos ferry, with the name of Skopelos? It belonged to Nomikos and sailed her for many years. Where to find out what happened to old  Greek ferries?
