Vi var tidlig ute tomt lokale og maten ikke helt klar. Vi sitter ute der, men i "telt" og med varmende gasslamper. Spiros vartet opp med herlig rødbetsalat, sprøstekte sukinier med tzatziki og til slutt øyas største "keftedes", - vet ikke helt hva han mente, for han sa det var på størrelse med hans nese! Jeg tok restene og det ble en stor pose  til Pasxa og PusPus. We were early  empty place and the food not quite ready. We sit outside but like in a plastic tent and with warming gas heaters. Spiros served quickly the lovely beetroot salad, then crispy zucchini with tzatziki and in the end the biggest "keftedes" on the island, - not quite sure what he meant, he said it was the size of his nose! A took the leftovers and it became a big bag to Pasxa and PusPus.      Og så kom gutta; And then the boys arrived; Sorry for my finger at the left top, - new camera, you know! Sorry for fingeren min på venstre top, - nytt kamera vet du! Mine venninder som skulle på weekend tur? Vel, hun i Aten ringte og sa at p.g.a. veiblokkeringer og vind ga hun opp! Hun som skal til Aten, kom seg ikke avgårde i går, og venter nå på at 7.00  hydrofoilen kanskje går 9.30! Det kom et par vi ikke kjente, de satt seg ned bak oss. Etter en stund begynte vi å snakke sammen. De bor på Alonnisos men er fra England, tror jeg. De hadde dratt til Volos for service på bilen og så ville de dra til IKEA i Thessaloniki, - ikke mulig! De ga opp, for mange traktorer blokkerer veiene. Men de kom seg ikke hjem til Alonnisos med det samme, fergen gikk bare til Glossa. I dag håper de å komme seg hjem med en hydrofoil, og la bilen stå til det kommer en ferge! Ikke lett å reise her om vinteren. De var imponert over maten til Spiros og størrelsen! Hun bestilte lammekoteletter og fikk minst 10, mens hans spiste det samme som oss. My friends  who was going on a week end trip? Well, the one in Athens phoned to say she gave up due to the road blocks and wind. The one going to Athens is still waiting! Could not go Friday and the 7.00 o'clock hydrofoil did not leave, maybe 9.30! A couple we did not know, sat down behind us. After a wile we stared to talk. They live on Alonnisos but are from the UK, I think. They had gone to Volos to get the car serviced and then they wanted to go to IKEA in Thessalonica, - no way! They gave up, to many tractors closing the road. But they could not go to Alonnisos, due to bad weather, so the ferry just went to Glossa. Today they will go on the hydrofoil, if it leaves, and leave the car here for the next ferry! Not easy traveling here winters-time. They were very impressed by Spiros food and the size of it.
