Det er samme utsikten,
men det øverste et mer nærbilde.
Begge tatt fra min kommende nye
terrasse. At farvene kan forandre seg
så mye på null time, er utrolig. Men det var "bare" der jeg fotograferte på øverste bilde som hadde sol, så det ble noen utrolig streke og klare farver!

Amazing to see how the colors could
change in such a short time. It was only
what I photographed on the top photo
who had sun, so the colors were so
strong and clear.

We celebrated European Music DayDet ble fullt hus hos
Alkistis, mange forskjellige nasjoner var møtt frem. Det ble et variert program; alt fra Gresk musikk med "vår" Kostas Kalafatis, via Stasi fra Polen med sitt trekkspill og sang, imponerende piano konsert av David, nydelige greske sanger ved Skopelos kvinner og danske Kiki, og sist men ikke minst herlige
sanger av Hilaries Kor, ofte ledet av
den amerikanske professor Tom.
Håper ikke jeg har glemt noen da!
Å jo, tyske Ingrid på trummer holdt takten!
Flott var det!
Full house at Alkistis,
people from many nations were there. It was a very varied program; all from great piano concerto from David, Greek music by "our" Kostas Kalafatis, Stasi from Poland accordion and song, beautiful Greek songs by Skopelos women and Danish Kiki, and last but not least Hilaries choir, often conducted by American professor Tom.
Hope I have not forgotten any here,
oh yes, German Ingrid on the big drum.
All great evening and a nice way to spend a summer night, ok weather and the starts came out in the end.

Etter Alkistis
gikk vi til OuzoBaren, der traff vi norske venner som koste seg med iskrem i denne deilige sofaen.
Vi valgte pannekaker; jeg tok en med is, sjokolade og nøtter, - hjelpes så nyyydelig!Vi tok en taxi
tilbake fra Alkistis og da vi skulle betale fikk vi en kassa-apparat kvittering, det
har aldri skjedd meg her før!
Vi ble gjort oppmerksom på at
det var tariff 2, etter kl.23. og extra
fordi vi ringte etter taxi.
Det står at det var 1.771 km, -
total kost 5.45 Euro.
After Alkistis
we went to the Brown Chairs, there we met some Norwegian friends that had a good time in the comfortable sofa.
We chose pancakes; I chose one with ice cream, nuts and chocolate sauce, mmm!We took a taxi
back from Alkistis and when we was going to pay we got a print out receipt, that has never happened to me here before!
We were told that it was tariff 2, after
11 at night and extra because we
ordered a taxi.
It was written that it was 1.771 km -
total cost 5.45 Euro.

Lignite power plant near Kozani closes
NIKOS ARVANITIDIS/ANAOne of the smog-spewing towers of a lignite-powered electricity plant in Ptolemaida, in the northern prefecture of Kozani, is seen yesterday. Environment Minister Tina Birbili last week ordered the closure of the plant, which has been producing electricity for more than 50 years. It was one of the most polluting power plants in Greece.
