"Jeg har reist rundt Ekvator og mye mer,
- Hellas er Diamanten!"

"I have traveled all around Equator and much more,
- Greece is the Diamante!"

We met a great Greek man at the clinic, - afterwards we named him Zorbas,
because we do not know his name. He talked a lot, a lot about Greece,
the beautiful country we are in. Both up here and under, are his quotes!

"Grekerene er ikke fattige,
Hellas er!"

"The Greeks are not poor,
Greece is!"

"Pou imouna?"

Hvor var jeg?
På Skopelos, selvfølgelig,
men hvor?
Where was I?
On Skopelos, of course,
but where?

"Kånta stå aftå tå eklisia"
Nær denne kirken,
var jeg.

På Nisi;
den lille Mamma Mia halvøen,
rett opp fra Glisteri,
- jeg var der en lykkelig dag!
Her ser du den lille Øen
fra en annen vinkel;

Close to this church,
I were.

On Nisi;
the small "Mamma Mia" islet,
just up from Glisteri,
- I was on a happy day!
Here you see the small island from
an other angle;

Skopelos to the right,
Alonnisos to the left,
Agios Georgios in the middle.

Kryss fingrene,
mor skal opereres i dag!
Cross your fingers,
mum will be operated today!

Vangelis - Memories Of Blue

Versgolem; There is a wave with my name in it.
I know not from where it came, nor where it shall end...
Yet when it is no more, it still is, flowing in the greatness of Mystery,
rocking itself to and fro, from the ages past to those yet to come.
And I hear the calming bliss of Nature's nursery: a wave with my name in it.
Such a short lived wave, yet there, like all things to pass;
like a smile for an angry crowd or a last kiss for a dying bride.
- Robusquet.
