Agnondas og en Måke
"Skyter" stadig fugler i flukt,

Agnondas and a Seagull
I "shoot" birds flying, but it is very
difficult to get them clear, - I am rather pleased with this one.

Very grand in Agnondas when it is big
waves, - and lots of sea splashes!

Just beautiful ...

"The name of March comes from ancient Rome, when March was the first month of the year and named Martius after Mars, the Roman god of war. In Rome, where the climate is Mediterranean, March is the first month of spring, a logical point for the beginning of the year as well as the start of the military campaign season. January became the first month of the calendar year either under King Numa Pompilius (circa 713 BCE) or under the Decemvirs about 450 BCE (Roman writers differ). The numbered year began on March 1 in Russia until the end of the fifteenth century. Great Britain and her colonies continued to use March 25 until 1752, which was when they ultimately adopted the Gregorian calendar. Many other cultures and religions still celebrate the beginning of the New Year in March."

"The equinox, named the vernal or spring equinox in the northern hemisphere and the autumnal equinox in the southern hemisphere, occurs on dates varying from March 19 to March 21 (in UTC)"

Blue, blue - I love the color of the deck on the Santorini ferry.

Express Santorini
forlater oss, ryktene sier hun skal til Azorene, - hva vil skje her?
Hennes siste tur er den 10.
sier OpenSeas.gr

Express Skiathos alias Xaroulla
kommer tilbake, sies det. Godt!

Express Santorini
is leaving us, the rumors says she is going to the Azores, - so what will happen here?
Her last trip here is on the 10th,
according to OpenSeas.gr

From the 8th the Irida from Poseidon Lines
is on, but I have never seen her here,
is she going or?
There is a Flying Cat to Volos every day, so we are not without connection.

Express Skiathos alias Xaroulla
is coming back, good!

Santorini leaving on a cloudy day!

Og her kommer noen Skiathos kaïkier; And here are some Skiathos kaïkies;

Discovering an ancient language

Issue No. 13378
LITTLE DID Mark Janse know that what had started as a spinoff to his doctoral thesis would, more than a decade later, lead him to discover a Greek-related language that most of his fellow linguists had for decades written off as extinct.

Hope they are all correct - it is human to fail!

Det er menskelig å feile!
It is human to make mistakes!

Parios, Arvanitaki - Svise to fos na kimithoume
Close the light let`s go to sleep
Slå av lyset la oss sove

Here is a translaton of the lyrics from YouTube;

"Leave me alone in my heavy thoughts
And don't start nagging.
Stop quarrelling, don't push it.
Turn off the lights to go to sleep.

You've given me a headache
Stop the big grumble
We'll talk about it in the morning
Turn off the lights to go to sleep

Come on and kiss me sweet
Turn off the light and enfold me in your arms.
Nagging won't take us anywhere.
Turn off the lights to go to sleep."

Dagens sitat;  Todays quote;

"The reason people find it so hard to be happy is
that they always see the past better than it was,
the present worse than it is,
and the future less resolved than it will be"

Marcel Pagnol
French writer, producer and film director, 1895-1974

"Grunnen til at folk finner det så vanskelig å være lykkelig er
de ser alltid fortiden bedre enn den var,
nåtiden værre enn den er,
og fremtiden mindre besluttsom/utviklet
(hva er rett oversettelse?) enn den vil bli."

Se deg om i verden, er ikke vi heldige?
